rest.bitcoin.com is not accessible through tor browser. On a matter of principle, it will be important for rest.bitcoin.com to support tor, and be accessible by the tor network.

Supporting tor means we can't have any effective DoS protection. In order to support tor, someone will probably need to spin up separate, parallel infrastructure from rest.bitcoin.com. This clone of rest would lack DoS protection and would be vulnerable in that regard, but would allow tor users to connect.

Bitcoin.com may or may not do this in the future. It would be best if someone from the community could step up and run this infrastructure. Might make a great Kickstarter or BitBacker campaign.
