A group of designers and developers is working on a new application for Bitcoin Core, a fresh approach to the functionality the Bitcoin Core GUI has delivered.

This project has been going strong, V1 will be released very soon. The main website for it is now at bitcoincore.app. We use the #bitcoin-core-app channel to communicate. Come and join.

2 years no comments here, time to change it.

We just achieved a team milestone of showing off our Version 2 Preview at BTC Prague. This included the basic functionality of the wallet features (create, activity, send, receive). Functional, but unpolished with lots of stuff missing. Michael did a talk about the design, and Johnny did one about the technical side of things. We were hoping to get general feedback on the project, and got a very positive response.

Now we need to chat as a time what our next goals and timelines are.
