Hello there,
My name is Ron
I love what you have done with this mod it is very cool and interesting
I like the whole idea with the shifters moving back and forth when adding it with the water well but I find that I have to use a lot of them to get the output that I am looking for is there any way to either make bigger water wheels that does more power are you able to use certain fluids to Output more power while staying in a small amount of water wheels

If you need me to clarify or to give more examples on what I am talking about please leave a comment below this one and I will get back to you as soon as possible

In all keep up the good work and I cannot wait to see you what you will do next with this mod

I was actually thinking about this. If we check the water flow level to determine a power for the waterwheel would that make some sense?

Yeah that would
The way I would do it if I could actually code and do it myself I would make a few additional water wheels with upgraded functions like taking the wood Waterwheel and being able to upgrade to Stone or iron and by doing this it would use less friction which would cause the wheel to spin faster in theory so that way you would have to use less water wheels to get the same power as using a lot of the wooden ones

I hope that this makes sense in that you could understand what I'm trying to say

Great. Then I will probably starting to code this, and submit a PR then.

I might need some help with textures and stuff (not an artist) But certainly can code some stuff.
