This Blender plugin generates bezier curves, pipes and ribbons in elaborate weavings, based off of a framework mesh. Tested with Blender 2.79.
Install Blender, then put
celtic-knot.py in your plugins directory location is listed here. Restart Blender, then go to
File > User Preferences > Addons, and search for the Celtic Knot plugin, enabling it.
Delete the files added in installation.
Select any mesh, then run the plugin from the
Add > Curves menu. Then tweak the generation parameters to suit your particular usage.
