Markdown_to_Anki is an app to make Anki flashcards from markdown files

Features

Setup

DISCLAIMER: For the moment, it only works with anki up to 2.1.44. This is the current best version to use alongside the app. Older versions of anki should work, but it's not guaranteed. Since the app makes backup of both your files and your anki flashcards, you can test it freely

Windows

Windows 7/8/10/11 64 bits

  1. Download the latest version of Markdown_to_Anki windows version here
  2. Extract it
  3. Just open Markdown_to_Anki.exe inside it to run

Linux (64 bits)

  1. Download the latest version of Markdown_to_Anki linux version here
  2. Extract it
  3. Just open Markdown_to_Anki.exe inside it to run

This executable is experimental. Please use other systems setup if you have any problems with it

Other systems

  1. Download a version of python superior to 3.8.4 here and install it
  2. Download the latest version of Markdown_to_Anki python release here
  3. Extract it
  4. At the build directory, run install_requirements.py
  5. Run Markdown_to_Anki.py whenever you want to open the script

You can use this setup on Windows as well, just open M2A_win.py to run it instead

For any problems, see Troubleshooting or create an issue
