Following many discussions many recent and less recent events, and many other things, having BuildCraft using its on energy unit makes less and less sense. Mods are moving, and the need is so clearly identified than there's even efforts to fork BuildCraft with RF support. At this stage, MJ is nothing else than a obstacle to mod integration.

As it was the case with Forge about 3 years ago, it's time for BuildCraft to standardize on a common platform. @asiekierka is kind enough to work on a PR for migrating BuildCraft to RF system. Will be merged in BuildCraft 6.1.x soon. BC 5.0 API will be deprecated, kept for a while to avoid disturbing mods depending on it as much as possible. "New" API will be removed.

This is obviously a topic of contention and in an attempt to limit heated discussion, this issue is locked.
