  • At the bottom of pg. 12 you instruct the learner to run bin/nitrogen console. The output you give shows the Erlang command prompt "(testproj@>". You might mention that the user may be required to hit Enter before the prompt will be displayed. When I first started messing with Erlang it took me a couple minutes to figure that out.
  • Could give some direction as to what should be included in the .gitignore file.
  • Between the top of page 56 and the bottom of page 63 (Visitors admin section) there is a lot of code without feed back. As a person new to Erlang and Nitrogen I would like to know a bit sooner if what I am doing is working...did I make typing errors. Additionally, I feel like I have an easier time wrapping my head around material if I see a tangible result sooner. Can this show in a clearer way what each peace of code is doing? This might be a good place to introduce some TDD. Perhaps start the section off with a few tests which would go green in an incremental fashion as the learner progresses to the end of the section.
