Hi,

Have a new si GP62 6QF. Installed fedora 25 and installed bumblebee from https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Bumblebee. I also created a comment in https://bugs.launchpad.net/lpbugreporter/+bug/752542.

I get the following errors after running optirun:

Battery life is not great, i see that the MSI powerbutton goes to blue, but it still consumes a lot of power.

Thanks.

Your laptop has a GTX 960M, this is a possible indication that you have one of the newer laptops for which the old PM method does not fully work. If you do not need optirun and just want to save power, I recommend using the nouveau driver. Since kernel 4.8 or so it should use a newer method that does save power.

Powermanagement with the new nouveau driver doesn't work, i need to disable it by adding nouveau.runpm=0 on grub, otherwise my laptop completely freezes.

Thanks for your quick reply. I did a quick test and it looks like to work. I added the options wrong.
