How to Install Windows 10 Using Rufus

Requirements

  • A USB flash drive (at least 8 GB).
  • Windows 10 ISO file.
  • Rufus application.

Instructions

Step 1: Open Rufus

  1. Plug in your USB flash drive to your computer.
  2. Launch the Rufus application. You may need to run it as an administrator.

Step 2: Select Your USB Drive

  1. In Rufus, find the "Device" dropdown menu.
  2. Select your USB flash drive from the list.

Step 3: Select the Windows 10 ISO

  1. Click the "SELECT" button next to the "Boot selection" field.
  2. Browse to the location of your Windows 10 ISO file and select it.

Step 4: Configure Partition Scheme

  1. Under "Partition scheme," choose:

  1. Set the "File system" to FAT32 (recommended) or NTFS.

Step 9: Install Windows 10
