Make the InputArea component compliant with Mozilla Firefox Add-on guidelines.

Send first text change after the connection has been established.

A small behavior improvement which lets the add-on send the first text change after the tab has been informed about the successful connection.
This also includes a minor bugfix where the connection successful message appeared on connection errors, too.
