Call for Expression of Interest: Callisto Network PoW Infrastructure Sale

Dear Callisto Network Community,

On March 1, 2024, we announced our decision to cease maintaining the Callisto Network infrastructure. To ensure a smooth transition, we sought to transfer control back to Callisto Network, represented by Dexaran.

However, we were unable to reach an agreement. It's important to note that Callisto Enterprise acquired this infrastructure from Callisto Network by covering 50% of the server costs for 2021. As Callisto Enterprise allocated $22,000 towards Callisto Network infrastructure in 2023, it's equitable for the reacquisition to involve a similar financial arrangement.

Specifically, we are requesting $11,000, which represents 50% of our initial expenditure, to transfer server ownership.

Dexaran, representing Callisto Network, has declined our proposal. Consequently, we are initiating a public offering for the Callisto Network PoW infrastructure.

PoW Infrastructure Sale Announcement

Interested parties in acquiring the Callisto Network PoW infrastructure are invited to engage in the sale process. Requirements include:

• Expression of Interest: To indicate your interest, please reach out to us via email at Tonton@callisto.network.

• Proof of Funds: To demonstrate your ability to purchase, you will be asked to communicate a wallet that holds at least the required amount (11,000 USD as of March 27, 2024).

• Verification Transaction: Transaction: To verify ownership of the wallet, specific instructions will be shared via email. This will include completing a transaction to the wallet address 0x346447d2044c0716B82d8b8240ca27E98a60F31f.

Please be aware that an additional $1,000 will be added to the total cost each month to cover ongoing server expenses.

Note: Should multiple parties express interest, a transparent public auction will be conducted on GitHub to determine the new owner. Participation will require transparent disclosure of a wallet demonstrating the bidding amount.

Technical Support & Transition

Callisto Enterprise commits to providing the necessary technical support during the ownership transfer to ensure a seamless transition.

We will continue to maintain the infrastructure until a new owner steps forward to prevent any potential shutdown of the PoW network.

Resolution and Future Direction for Callisto Network Infrastructure

Dear Callisto Network Community,

We're excited to announce a significant update following our March 28th, 2024, announcement regarding the Callisto Network PoW infrastructure. An agreement has been reached with the BuildaBlock development team, represented by Jason.

Terms of the Agreement

• BuildaBlock will assume full control over the PoW infrastructure, especially the bootnodes, critical for any future network upgrades or hard forks. This transition of infrastructure to BuildaBlock, scheduled between April 5th and April 9th, will see them taking on maintenance responsibilities immediately.

• The infrastructure will be streamlined from the current 6 bootnodes to 2, and the main block explorer will be disabled. Community members may use an alternate explorer instance or independently run the Callisto Enterprise version.

• The Fushuma team, formerly Callisto Enterprise, will retain control over the Callisto Network domain and website, updating the landing page to reflect the evolution to Fushuma. BuildaBlock will be granted rights to post and edit pages related to Callisto Network PoW.

• The @CallistoSupport Twitter account will evolve to @FushumaChain under the continued management of the Fushuma team.

• BuildaBlock will receive admin rights to the Callisto Network Reddit and the ownership of the @CallistoSupport Twitter handle, with the agreement that Fushuma news will be shared within the Callisto Network community spaces.

• The Facebook page will be rebranded to Fushuma, with ownership of the Callisto Network ID transitioning to BuildaBlock.

Financial Aspects

The full payment of 11,000 USDT, covering the total agreed sum for the Callisto Network PoW infrastructure, was successfully transferred to our wallet 0x346447d2044c0716B82d8b8240ca27E98a60F31f on 03/04/24. The transaction can be seen here.

This finalizes the financial aspect of our agreement with BuildaBlock, moving us forward in the infrastructure transition process.
