Components and Licensing

The CANARIE Sensor RPI service is written in JAVA and contains the following components:

Versioning

The Sensor RPI Service is identified by a version identifier in the x.y format, where x is a positive integer and and y is a positive integer or zero. An increase in the major number ("x") indicates as significant change that would make this version incompatible with previous versions. An increase in the minor number ("y") indicates minor changes such as bug fixes and performance improvements. The initial release is 1.0.

Release and Deployment Criteria

Each release of the Sensor RPI Service is approved by the Sensor Web Lab at the University of Calgary. The service is deployed on virtual machines at Canarie DAIR Could. The codes and documentation are hosted in this Github repository with the version number of the release.
