Good news, everything is going as planned.

Windows users should get a head start on getting the tools setup:

florent: The README should gives direction on how to get started. The quick start guide explain how to install things a run the lxsim. This allow testing things without installing a FPGA toolchain (only verilator) . You can also find some introduction to FPGA/Migen/LiteX here:

And as long as I have your attention, here is a problem I would love for someone to look at: USB tty issue: "Serial port drops chars" - we have 100's of workarounds, but they all make it harder to debug.
