Excuse my ignorance -- I admittedly haven't dug into the guts of this plugin, and I'm not well-versed in Postgres's search capabilities either.

I'm wondering how I should try to implement boolean search operators in my searches? Something like cats OR dogs or (cats OR dogs) AND bananas. Is this something I should just parse out myself? Or does Postgres have this functionality built in?

Thanks in advance!

For the 'or' you can pass your search in as an array.

Example
where(animal: ['cat', 'dog'])
