I'm new to using Vagrant in general. How do I connect to the MySQL server that Chassis sets up for me in the VM?

Hey @samholmes, I'm glad that a) you're using Vagrant and b) you picked Chassis as one of your first Vagrant usages 👍

Once you've done a vagrant up and your VM is running you can then run vagrant ssh and you'll be sshed into your vagrant box. You'll then want to run mysql -u wordpress -p and enter the password vagrantpassword and you'll be connected to MySQL. e.g.
vagrant

I'm assuming that you're rolling a default Chassis install and that you haven't customised the default yaml file. If you have made a custom config then your database username and password will be whatever you've set them too 😄

Let me know if you have any more questions and thanks for using Chassis! We love it when people use our code 👍

P.S. If you're using a desktop utility like Sequel Pro, you can tunnel the connection via SSH:

I've run into an issue where this does not work with PhpStorm.

SequelPro works perfectly, but PhpStorm tells me that the SSH authorisation failed, even though I'm using the exact same settings.

Is there a setting that needs adjusting somewhere?
