HackerRank is a technology company that focuses on competitive programming challenges for both consumers and businesses, where developers compete by trying to program according to the specifications. It also categorizes most of their programming challenges into a number of computer science domains like Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms, Functional Programming, Machine Learning.
Competitive Programming is considered a mind sport. What makes it intriguing are the time constraints and the variety of different concepts that one gets to learn while participating in contests hosted by renowned online judges. Moreover competing with peers in coding contests is fun as you get to say- 'Hello World!' ; )
