Thanks for downloading imagesat.
To install it, make sure you have Python 3.3 or greater installed. Then run
this command from the command prompt:
python setup.py install (in coding)
If you're upgrading from a previous version, you need to remove it first.
AS AN ALTERNATIVE, you can just:
1. Copy imagesat.py to /usr/bin/imagesat
2. Copy imagesat_example.conf to /etc
3. If you use systemd, copy system_d to/usr/lib/systemd/system/imagesat.service
4. Create /var/log/imagesat directory
5. Create imagesat group (you prefere don't use a root process) :
getent group imagesat &>/dev/null || groupadd -r -g 464 imagesat >/dev/null
getent passwd imagesat &>/dev/null || useradd -r -u 464 -g imagesat -d /tmp -s /bin/bash >/dev/null imagesat
6. Fixing some right :
chmod 644 "/etc/imagesat_example.conf"
chmod 755 "/var/log/imagesat"
chmod 755 "/usr/bin/imagesat"
7. Fixing membership :
chown imagesat: "/var/log/imagesat"
chown imagesat: "/etc/imagesat_example.conf"
