# Blocks and Plants

JaizMod adds a lot of small block families rather than one enormous stone tier. This page groups them by what a player would actually use them for. The IDs shown are the same as the names in commands; add `jaizmod:` unless a different namespace is written.

## Stone and masonry

## Guano blocks

Fruit Bat Guano can be thrown, turned into bone meal, or built into a full dirty-brick family:

It is not the most dignified building palette in the pack, but it is a complete one.

## Wool and carpet

**Fancy Wool** and **Fancy Carpet** exist in all sixteen vanilla dye colours. The exact pairs are below so this page also works as a `/give` reference.

**Sniffer Wool** (`jaizmod:sniffer_wool`) is made from Sniffer Tufts, and **Sniffer Carpet** (`jaizmod:sniffer_carpet`) is its thin floor version.

## Floral veils and ivy

White, Pink and Yellow Floral Veils (`white_floral_veil`, `pink_floral_veil`, `yellow_floral_veil`) are soft hanging or spreading floral decoration. Blooming Ivy appears as **Blooming Ivy** (`jaizmod:blooming_ivy`), **Blooming Ivy Block** (`jaizmod:blooming_ivy_block`) and **Blooming Ivy Seeds** (`jaizmod:blooming_ivy_seeds`). The seeds are the survival starting point.

## Ancient plants

**Ancient Sprout Seeds** (`jaizmod:ancient_sprout_seeds`) grow the Ancient Sprout crop. The mature **Ancient Sprout** (`jaizmod:ancient_sprout`) is also available as a placeable decorative plant. These fit with the mod's expanded Sniffer theme rather than behaving like an ordinary wheat replacement.

## Unusual placeable objects

| Water Torch | `jaizmod:water_torch` | A torch meant for underwater placement. |
| Tea Pot | `jaizmod:tea_pot_block` | The placeable centrepiece for the tea collection. |
| Spice Barrel | `jaizmod:spice_barrel` | A desert-themed storage/decorative block tied to Rare Spices. |
| Frost | `jaizmod:frost` | A thin cold surface layer. |
| Rot | `jaizmod:rot_block` | A solid rotten block used by decayed world features. |
| Amethyst Thorn | `jaizmod:amethyst_thorn` | A sharp crystal hazard that can also be called up by the Amethyst Horn. |

## Sulfur Ore

Sulfur Ore uses the `jaizmobs` namespace: `jaizmobs:sulfur_ore`. It is mined with a pickaxe and now correctly requires a stone-tier tool or better. Sulfur feeds several familiar explosive recipes, including gunpowder, TNT and simple fireworks, and connects back to Sulfuric Remnants from Molotov Golems.
