# Phase 2/3 Research Increment **Author:** Ciprian Ștefan Pleșca Phase 2 extends reproducibility across language boundaries and introduces descriptive statistical research utilities. Phase 3 adds a durable local JSONL audit-ledger adapter and commands that independently reload and verify a batch of proofs. ```mermaid flowchart LR P1[Phase 1\nSingle RoundProof] --> P2[Phase 2\nCross-language vectors and statistics] P2 --> P3[Phase 3\nPersistent JSONL ledger and operations] ``` ## Delivered - A shared canonicalization and HMAC-SHA-256 test vector consumed by Rust, Python, and TypeScript tests. - Deterministic descriptive RTP, variance, confidence-interval, frequency, chi-square, and autocorrelation utilities. - A JSON Lines ledger that validates links before writing and synchronizes successful appends to disk. - CLI workflows for batch generation, independent ledger verification, Merkle-root derivation, and descriptive statistics. - CI jobs for Rust, Python, TypeScript, and Julia. ```mermaid flowchart TB A[128 deterministic reference rounds] --> B[Append JSONL events] B --> C[Reload ledger] C --> D[Verify all RoundProof values] D --> E[Verify hash chain] E --> F[Derive Merkle root] C --> G[Calculate descriptive statistics] ``` ## Boundaries The JSONL adapter is a durable local research component, not a production database. The statistical outputs describe the supplied sample; they do not prove fairness, certification, legal compliance, or the security of an operational environment. The reference fixtures use public deterministic test material and are not production secrets. For commands and operational limits, see the [JSONL ledger operations guide](https://github.com/Ciprian-LocalPulse/CIGP-Protocol/blob/main/docs/operations/jsonl-ledger.md).
