No Way to sort threads by state

The feed page shows all opened threads but does not automatically sort threads to the user's state of residence, nor allow the user to sort by a state they are interested in.

Is there a preference between a docker or local set up for contributing?

Docker would be recommended, but you can choose whichever works best for your style.
