Version 0.7.1

Issue:
You can set "Skill Rust" to "2-Not at all" and select negative trait "Forgetful" and score 3 free spec points.

Propose:
Make "Forgetful" unavailable for selection from Negative traits list if "2 - Not at all" is selected for "Skill Rust" in Options.

The same issue applies if NPCs are disabled and someone picks Ugly or any other trait that specifically deals with NPC interaction.

In my personal opinion, this isn't that big of a deal -- people will take points if they want points and this is a single-player game, so who does it hurt?

@darth-servo is right: this basic problem also applies to a couple of other traits when NPCs are disabled. That's a good observation, but I don't think it's an argument for leaving this behavior in the game.

My problem with making these inconsequential traits available isn't that it makes the game too easy — it's that it turns negative trait selection from an interesting, strategic process into a mindless one.

If we fix this (and I think we should), we'd need to make sure you couldn't create a character template with NPCs and skill rust enabled and then turn those options off and reuse the template (with those negative traits hidden but still in effect). Making these traits hidden and worth 0 points would probably accomplish that.

I don't really think that this needs to be fixed. I mean what you are doing is basically the same as going in and changing the points option to give you more points. Also even if we did address this, it wouldn't make a difference because someone could always turn on skill rust, get the traits, and then turn it off once the game started.

If you want to do this to get "free" points that's up to you, we aren't going to criticize; but if you do that you might as well just give yourself the free points without exploiting the trait, it functions identically.

@i2amroy is basically my stance on the topic. Mild oppose.

Agree, I don't want to get into an arms race with users trying to "enforce"
balance.
Compromise though, grey out those options and add a message saying it
doen't do anything with the current options, as a reminder?

My OCD goes apeshit... that's probably all.
