Is there a way to restrict connection of overmaps from perpendicular directions?

Say, I want an overmap to be possibly connected from:

North/South

|
S
|

or East/West

-S-

but not from West and North:

 |
-S

Example screenshot (green - good connections, red - bad connections):

default

What I'm trying to do is to restrict connecton directions for subway stations.

It seems that was a mix of built-in and json tunnels.
