FOODCO on a non-mobile vehicle frame connected to another non-mobile frame via jumper cable. The remote frame contains a solar panel and battery (car or storage made no difference). I am able to dehydrate food just fine using this setup so the FOODCO is pulling power from the remote battery. However, water purification does not work. The options to purify water are grayed out when examining the FOODCO vehicle. If you install a battery on the FOODCO frame, the options are now available.

The frame containing the FOODCO has to have a battery in order to function (tested this and confirmed). That is inconsistent with the fact that the FOODCO is able to function WITHOUT a native battery for the non purify water parts. Since it pulls power from the remote battery, it should be able to pull power for purifying water and this does not happen.

The solution should be to allow the purify water code to function the same way the rest of the other functions of the FOODCO unit work. The expectation is a reasonable one as the unit already pulls power for the other functions.

(I have only been playing this wonderful game for a week so forgive me if this is not submitted properly or if I am just making a rookie mistake)
