Can not learn recipe from books

Which recipe? Which book? What was your level in the relevant skill?

This isn't enough information for anyone to tell what the problem is.

I believe I've encountered this one recently as well.
Can't learn recipes from electronics books even though I have a skill of 14.
Also I seem to recall somebody in IRC mentioning that the metalsmithing books weren't giving them recipes like they should.

No recipes in any book that has them (What's a Transistor?, Cucina Italiana, Historic Weaponsmithing, Historic Armorsmithing, Japanese variants of same) are either displayed or can be learned from reading them.

The recipes does not display at all, like mentioned above.

Is this still broken? I haven't seen any commits saying they fixed it, and this is a MAJOR problem. Can somebody try and get this fixed please?

I did a little poking around, and it seems that the recipes list for all books is completely empty; they aren't being loaded properly any more.

Unfortunately, I have no clue how they are supposed to be loaded, so I'm handing off to someone else at this point.

I think it has something to do with "Dynamic loading for recipes.json" commit from 10 days ago. Its pity I have no idea how to fix it.
