"Managed to kill"
And the armor stats don't suggest anything near "nigh impenetrable".

Feel free to test it and play around with armor values. My PRs are always open to changes, and you seem to have a better idea of armor balance. I've been out of the game for a while.

For a power armor to become 24/24, it would have to be totally wrecked. Player salvaged armor can only go as low as 36 before it gets destroyed.
Maybe drop the power armored thing and just make it a special survivor zed who managed to find a plate/chain suit? It would fit the stats. Plate armors and chainmails get no love.
If the power armor thing is to stay, maybe add something like HARDTOHIT, except with attacks failing rather than missing? It would make sense that all attacks glance off the intact parts, but face only minor resistance (24 is minor here) on the smashed apart ones.

Updated to 36/36 and the other mechanics description. I'd like to see the player reactions before making it too far past anything existing. Regarding the survivor zombie w/ plate, I could see doing something like that, but I might want to make a survivor scrap plate armor first. Thanks for the feedback and advice, definitely appreciate it. :) |

Scrap armor already exists, it is just too weak to use. Don't add a new one, rebalance/rename/recolor/reskill the existing one if you want a new scrap armor. |

Pretty confident that the depowered armor slows PCs who wear it (leg encumbrance) so it should also slow zeds.

Decent idea, sorry I'm not up for a lot of mergetesting ATM. |

I'd already slowed it to decayed zombie levels I thought. Further? |

I just re-thought that steel material thing and now I'm not so sure: the corpse inherits it, meaning they wouldn't be butherable. As for speed: soldier zed has 80 speed, salvaged armor is 40 encumbrance on legs and feet and so 16 move cost penalty. |

Ahem: if it's depowered armor the aug wouldn't help, and even if it is PA reduced to "depowered" thanks to PC attacks, it's far more likely that the soldiers were using UPSes rather than bionics. These are National Guard troops, not active-duty. (Frankly, PA shouldn't be common enough for these to exist outside someplace like a lab or maybe a miloutpost.) |

So would they be best to spawn there? |

That or a map_special like the tank drone roadblock: have one of the PA APCs with assorted corpses and one or two of these folks. |

I don't think that power armor has a acid proof I think mabye is that we need add more power melee weapon, such like power fist(unarmed skill) power axe(cuting skill) power spear(stabbing skill) and power warhammer(blunt skill) also, shouldn't we have a chance that we can find a heavy armor or the light armor? I mean, sure, mostly we found is only the depowered/salvaged armor, but can't we try to reset those power armor to the normal one, or even improve to the heavy one or the light one? |

No and no, 'power weapons' are moving deep into fantasy-type scifi, and
doing anything other than maintenance on power armor is intentionally
beyond the abilities of a survivor.

Im not sure this zombie should be "classic", AFAIK classic mode is also supposed to include the only present day tech thing. Well at least thats what the old forum thread said . |

I'll look into that. |

Stats are based off of the current depowered/salvaged armor.
