Purpose of change

We have utility bot, police bots, military bots, but no medical bots. This tries to add two interesting medical bots

Describe the solution

• Nurse Robot : Is a robotic medical assistant

  • If you can make it believe you're a legit doctor it wil assist you in surgery
    • being assisted adds a smal bonus to surgerie : install, uninstall, and save cyborg
      - the small bonus gives you +3 to your adjusted skill which translates into +11% chance of sucess for a difficulty 3 cbm and + 1.4% for difficulty 13
  • To make it believe you're a docotor you would need to hack it or wear a doctor badge
  • Otherwise it's just passive and won't attack you or anyone
  • Nurse bot also offers check-up, just stand near it and wait....
    • Got checked up effect is like self-aware and last 10 turns

• Defective Nurse Robot : is a dysfunctioning robotic medical assistant

  • It is difficult to distinguish from a Nurse Robot, it will display the same name as Nurse Robot
  • It won't assist you no matter if you make it friendly or have a doctor badge
  • It won't check you up but will still ask you to come closer for one
  • It can detect CBM and will try to grab and drag any NPC/Player with some to the nearest accessible autodo couch.
    • You can escape by breaking the grab or killing it before reaching the couch
    • Once at the couch it will produce a syringe of anesthetic, you now have one turn to get away from the couch
      • If you (or an NPC) don't, the nurse anesthetize you and proceed to attempt to remove one of your CBMs. This means that you'll be out of comission for a duration between 20mn and 260mn.
        • While you're out the nurse turns friendly and will obstruct the path of nearby zombies, it can deal with one but not multiple zombies. It won't care about hostiles other than zombies.
      • It can be a good or a bad CBM
      • For this the nurse skills are : 8 int, 8 First aid, 3 computer and 4 electronic
        • If it messes up you keep your cbm but you get failure effect just like in the regular human initiated procedure (Yes you can die)
        • If it succed you don't take pain/damage, but now the CBM is there on the couch with you.
    • Surgery cost it one charge of anesthetic, it has 3.
    • When out of anesthetic the nurse bot stops attacking
    • After that the nurse bot loses interest for some time.

• Both robots flee if they are hurt.

• Nurse robot are produced by Uncany a former toy company reconverted in android making. It's a small company with a bad marketing departement. There's one snippet about it in years_old_news.

Additional context

I post this early as CR because I need feedback :

• Is this an acceptable project or should I drop it ?
• If it is acceptable I would need feedback on the balance : what is a reasonnable bonus to give to surgeries, what is an acceptable way to attempt to make monster try to operate players.

Hey @Fris0uman , How do you feel about having this as a play testing for the subreddit? Me and @DracoGriffin are still trying to increase public participation in this sort of stuff, and this is small and easy enough to test, especially with if the malfunctioning med-bot is OP when it comes to CBM removal. If you still remember how to create a download link like you did in your hallucination NPC PR, and you're interested, set up a link, and i'll post a summary on the subreddit. (or you can, whatever you prefer) Hope to hear back from you!

Like last time I had to put the dll in the archive but it works.
You probably should put a spoiler warning on this one as the main strength of this monster is the surprise element, once you know what it is and how to recognise the good from the bad one it will loose most of its impact I think.
