Uh, if it's a blob of black goo, why is it colored pink? Might be worth giving it a pink background or something? |

Aside from the color issue, I'll support/merge this. Stick it in the bottom of slime pits and make it a QUEEN? (Though I'm familiar with Phalanx from Demon's Crest. That guy's an entirely different PitA.) |

Pondering boss monsters, and thought of one of my favorite game bosses ever, phalanx from Demon's souls. For those who haven't played, it's a large, tough pile of goo (sound familliar?) that has little to no combat ability itself, what it does do is control a swarm of regular monsters, each of which is a smaller blob with a shield and a spear. Individually they aren't that tough, but in a large group they can be quite tricky to deal with since they all stay close together.
Anyway, it's not an exact copy, but I tried to reproduce that feeling of the enemies working in concert, and I think it was moderately successful.
Since I astyled monattack.cpp, you'll need to look at de182dd for the functional changes, if that's too much of a problem I can pull out the astyle commit and PR that after this one.
