There are many, many open issues and pull requests on CocoaLumberjack. I'd like to see someone else take over project maintenance to keep moving the project forward, or see this repo point to someone else's fork if there's one that's especially active and well-maintained.

+1

IMO repository collaborators would be enough.

cbowns commented Oct 30, 2013

Oh, I didn't know GitHub supported that! That would work quite well, as it would keep merges and development in this repo vs. a fork.

I agree this great project is "on hold" and it shouldn't. @robbiehanson are you still able and willing to work on this? Can we help you in any way? I appreciate what you did with CocoaLumberjack until now, but we need to keep this one going.

I hear ya. I can start assigning collaborators.

I added @rivera-ernesto and @bpoplauschi as collaborators. I've noticed both of you have been very active with this repository, with multiple open pull requests, and many comments. Thank you so much for your help.

As for me, I'm still able and willing to work on this project. But as of recently, all my spare time has gone to working on a new open source project: https://github.com/yaptv/YapDatabase

Feel free to contact me directly if you ever have any questions.

I think @dvor would also be a good collaborator.

Also creating the organization (#150) will ease collaborators management.

I totally agree. @dvor is already a good collaborator so we just need to make it official.

It would be great. And the organization is a pretty good idea.

I moved the project to a new CocoaLumberjack organization.
And I added previous collaborators ( @bpoplauschi & @rivera-ernesto ) and @dvor to the team. (Welcome to the team @dvor !)

Github organizations are a bit new to me. Still learning. Let me know if you need me to change anything.

Thanks a bunch! I'm really excited to see the project moving forward again, and @robbiehanson, a million thanks for all your work on it so far, it's a fantastic tool.
