Original Title: CocoaPods versioning “< 2.0” tried to install “2.0.0-RC3”
I have a project, which was using some unknown old version of AFNetworking. I converted the project to CocoaPods and wrote "pod 'AFNetworking', '< 2.0'" into pod file.
Found out that "pod install" tried to install AFNetworking version 2.0.0-RC3. Fortunately it wasn't compatible with the project and I got a warning about it.
Yes, we should not install rereleases unless explicitly requested by the user. E.g. pod 'AFNetworking', '2.0.0-RC3'.
pod 'AFNetworking', '2.0.0-RC3'
Also need to check if Bundler supports something like pod 'AFNetworking', '~> 2.0.0-RC1'.
pod 'AFNetworking', '~> 2.0.0-RC1'
