Can I ignore the required iOS version in case I do the conditional include myself in main.h?

I'm trying to add CRNavigationController in my Podfile, but this pod requires iOS 7.

The suggestion is not a solution but just a workaround (manually modify podspecs).

As such, I don't see why it closes this issue or #1376.

After reading through the multiple issues created for this request, I'm pretty surprised that @irrationalfab just links them to #1241 and closes them, and no one seems to care?

@nheagy @rivera-ernesto The ticket @irrationalfab links to is still open, so I’m guessing it was meant as a ‘Duplicate of #1241, see that ticket for a workaround’.

And looking at #1241, the solution is already known, someone simply needs to implement it. Any takers? We’ll provide guidance where needed.
