Pod GoogleAnalytics-iOS-SDK doesn't work/is not downloaded #779

  1. Add pod 'GoogleAnalytics-iOS-SDK', '~> 2.0beta4' to Podfile
  2. Run pod install
  3. Open workspace file in XCode
  4. Check that Google Analytics is not available
  5. Open the created Pods directory
  6. Check that the created GoogleAnalytics-iOS-SDK folder is empty

There was a change in CocoaPods 0.16.1 that broke a couple of specs, including this one. It has since been updated, so I’m guessing you have either not updated your spec repo clone or you’re still using a CocoaPods version < 0.16.1, in which case please update.

I'm in fact running CocoaPods version 0.16.0
Will update and see if that fixes

I'm still seeing this in Cocoapods version 0.16.3. The Pods/GoogleAnalytics-iOS-SDK directory is still empty.

I'm also seeing this issue in Cocoapods version 0.16.3. It worked for 0.16.2.
