Cannot type after creating a new file

Description

After creating a new file, I cannot type and no character would be shown,

To Reproduce

1. Open CodeEdit
2. Click 'Create a new file'
3. Create the file
4. Try to type

Expected Behavior

Normally type

@iggy890 not sure it is, in @garethng's video you can clearly see the cursor in the editor while typing indicating that the editor is focused.

@austincondiff I'll test that when I get back home, I think I've encountered similar and the fix was scrolling on the file.

That probably means you didn't focus on the window, did you click on the window before typing?

Yep, I had clicked the window for many times

The solution for that is maximising the window, it is a bit weird though.

There is an error being thrown when a single file is opened that's probably related to this: ERROR: Setting <STTextView.STTextView: 0x141f8b140> as the first responder for window <NSWindow: 0x15300db30>, but it is in a different window ((null))! This would eventually crash when the view is freed. The first responder will be set to nil.

I notice that I can click on the highlighted line and then the text view starts accepting input. Is that the case here?

@thecoolwinter is right. The height of STTextView is only 15

So only clicking the highlighted line , the view will be focused.
