Labelizer is a small jQuery snippet that writes the labels of forms into the related (input) elements. This way you can hide all your labels using CSS and the labels places inside the form elements when the page is loaded. When the user focuses the element the elements value is set to empty. As soon as the user leaves the element the initial value is restored if the user did not enter a value.
- jQuery 1.2.3 or higher
- A <label> for every form element that should be supported by Labelizer
- Include the Labelizer.js in your page. Make sure it included after jQuery!
- Add the class "labelizer" to whatever DOM element you want that includes form elements. Labelizer is not bound to a <from> tag to support ASP.NET
After the page is loaded every form element within the element having the class "labelizer" should have the value of the related <label> set as actual value.
