How to override included ymls DB #1266

I am sorry to bother you again.

I am running a testsuite with included testsuites (with the include param in codeception.yml)

Is there a way to override the Db in the included codeception.ymls?

The problem is that:

  • the main app has its own DB Mysql settings
  • the included testsuites have their own Sqlite Db setting

Running the included testsuites should use the parent testsuites DB.

I have found a solution by creating a codeception_app.yml for each included testsuite, but is this the way to go?

I've found out that using the --env satisfies my need.
For the main app I don't use a --env and for the included testsuites, I put the DB setting under an Env config.
