Non-Mandatory Update

COLX Core v1.1.1 is a non-mandatory update to address bugs and introduce minor enhancements that do not require a network change.

How to Upgrade

Shut down wallet. Wait until it has completely shut down, then run the installer on Windows or just copy over /Applications/COLX-Qt (on Mac) or colxd/colx-qt (on Linux).

Compatibility

COLX Core is extensively tested on multiple operating systems using
the Linux kernel, macOS 10.8+, and Windows Vista and later.

Microsoft ended support for Windows XP on April 8th, 2014,
No attempt is made to prevent installing or running the software on Windows XP, you
can still do so at your own risk but be aware that there are known instabilities and issues.
Please do not report issues about Windows XP to the issue tracker.

COLX Core should also work on most other Unix-like systems but is not
frequently tested on them.

Change Log

Write new transactions to wtxOrdered properly

This addresses an issue where new incoming transactions aren't recorded, and subsequently, not returned with listtransactions in the samesession.

Zerocoin settings

Zerocoin minting is disabled by default for daemon (colxd) and is enabled by default for wallet (colx-qt).

Important Changes to secure Dev Fundings/New Coin Parameters

To help fund the development of the ColossusXT project toward our roadmap goals and increase POS Staking and Masternode rewards, the block reward will be adjusted from 1000 COLX per block to 1500 COLX per block. The new block reward distribution will be as follows:

  • 80% (1200 COLX per block) will go to users for Staking and Masternode rewards. This will be an advantage for this user group as it will be 200 COLX higher per block than actual distribution.
  • 10% (150 COLX per Block) will go directly to the official Developer Fund Address.
  • 10% (150 COLX per Block) will be used for proposals/budget system.
  • Transaction Fees will now go directly to the official Developer Fund Address rather than being burned.
  • If there are no proposals approved in the budget payment cycle, these funds will be routed to the official Developer Fund Address.
