Triplexes

  1. Compiling

    1.1 binary:

     *) mkdir -p build/Release && cd build/Release
     *) cmake ../.. -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER=g++-4.7 -G "Unix Makefiles"
     *) make -j 8
    

    1.2 shared library (for python bindings):

     *) mkdir -p build/Release && cd build/Release
     *) cmake ../.. -DSHAREDLIBRARY=TRUE -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER=g++-4.7 -G "Unix Makefiles"
     *) make -j 8
    

    Warnings: For the compiling you must use the g++ version 4.7. If you don't have g++-4.7 in your computer, check how to install it in https://askubuntu.com/questions/113291/how-do-i-install-gcc-4-7 .

  2. Python bindings

    *) set your TRIPLEXATOR_LIBRARY environment variable to the location of the Triplexator shared library (libtriplexator.so)

    *) import triplexator module from TRIPLEXATOR_HOME/python_bindings/

    *) call runTriplexator function with the regular Triplexator parameters as string param.

  3. Run Triplexator with the following options

    • --bit-parallel: for bit parallel (faster) version of brute-force
    • --auto-binding-file [file]: for semi-palindromic (local auto-binding) search
