Cuse AI is a first-of-its-kind, student-run AI organization at Syracuse University.
We’re partnered with Anthropic as a Claude Builder Club organization and we run workshops, seminars, and hands-on projects to grow AI skills and awareness across campus. We’re open to all students, technical or not.
Why we’re here
AI is reshaping the world, and students deserve a seat at the table—now. Cuse AI exists to give Syracuse students a place to learn, build, and debate AI together: not just to code it, but to question it, use it responsibly, and imagine better futures with it.
What we believe
- Universities are uniquely suited for open, human-first exploration.
- AI is both a tool and a mirror, it reveals what needs fixing and helps us prototype what’s possible.
- Impact should be inclusive, not elitist. You don’t need to “already know AI” to participate.
Our ethos
Radical access. Creative resistance. Responsible invention.
- Workshops & Seminars – Beginner-friendly sessions (prompts, LLMs, ethics), plus deep dives (retrieval, agents, evals).

We commit to:
- Safety & privacy first – respect data, follow policies, and never ship risky features without review.
- Transparency – document data sources, prompts, evals, limitations, and known risks.
- Inclusion – harassment-free participation for all members and guests.
- Anthropic — Cuse AI is a Claude Builder Club organization.
- Leads: organize projects, reviews, and workshops.
- Project Maintainers: run sprints, manage issues, and handle releases.
- Contributors: students of all disciplines who design, build, research, or test.
If AI is going to reshape the world, students should help shape it, together at Cuse AI.
