# execute this script in root of motorola OSS android tree (with kernel)
# or use CyanogenDefy kernel-omap kernel tree in CM7.

# steps required :
#   Edit target/board/generic/BoardConfig.mk
# and set wifi parameters :

# Wifi related defines
# BOARD_WPA_SUPPLICANT_DRIVER := CUSTOM
# BOARD_WPA_SUPPLICANT_PRIVATE_LIB := libCustomWifi
# BOARD_WLAN_DEVICE := tiwlan0
# BOARD_WLAN_TI_STA_DK_ROOT := system/wlan/ti/wilink_6_1
# WIFI_DRIVER_MODULE_PATH     := "/system/lib/modules/tiwlan_drv.ko"
# WIFI_DRIVER_MODULE_ARG      := ""
# WIFI_DRIVER_MODULE_NAME     := "tiwlan_drv"
# WIFI_FIRMWARE_LOADER        := "wlan_loader"
# WPA_SUPPLICANT_VERSION := VER_0_6_X

# then :

    export PLATFORM_DIR=$(pwd)
    export ARCH=arm
    export CROSS_COMPILE=arm-eabi-
    export TARGET_OUT_INTERMEDIATES=out

    cd $PLATFORM_DIR
    . build/envsetup.sh
    choosecombo 1 1 generic eng

# or if you have the kernel-omap tree in a CM7 repo :

    . build/envsetup.sh
    lunch cyanogen_jordan-eng

    make ext_kernel_modules

# cleanup
cd system/wlan/ti
find . | grep "\.o$" | xargs rm

# build modules
cd $PLATFORM_DIR
make MOTO_PREBUILT_DIR= tiwlan_drv
cp system/wlan/ti/wilink_6_1/platforms/os/linux/tiwlan_drv.ko ./

make MOTO_PREBUILT_DIR= tiap_drv

# Last changes :

Apr 2012 :
- Update SDIO part
- added implementation of CONFIG_HAS_EARLYSUSPEND, DTIM skipping feature
- Fix Tests frame size warnings

- tiap_drv : update sdio and add missing commands like "set tx power"

# Current Status (March 2012) :

the tiwlan_drv.ko is currently used in CyanogenMod 7/9 Roms

tiap_drv is not ready yet, it is built and loads fine, AP is seen, but the connection cant be established (wpa2 problem ?)
We still use a patched motorola kernel module (patched to change softap intf name to "tiap0")... but we are near the goal.
