aat2870: Don't pull GPIOs for suspension in thunder

The original thunderg kernel didn't pull them either, and having this
causes frequent race conditions when coming out of suspension, especially
when the wakeup event comes from the ARM9

Is this anyway related to wake-up issues? I'm still looking forward for a solution, because on our kernel the fbcon trick did not work...

Dunno if this is what you mean, but have you tried to simply set CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE to n? It is not needed for anything except that LG's logo animation at boot, at least from my observation.
