I've tried getting rid of the bundled Allegro .so's, as well as with them, all this after spending a good portion of the day getting DFHack working at all.

The relavent so files need to be added in cmake.

In this case, liballegro_color needs to be added to the PROJECT_LIBS list of plugins/stonesense/CMakeLists.txt line 91.

This fixes the "undefined symbol: al_color_rgb_to_hsv" error mentioned in DFHack/dfhack#282

I've got the "Linux Lazy Newb Pack V0.40.13" with the same problem, but the change in the CMakeLists.txt doesn't solve the problme for me. Any help?
I tried deleting the Allegro .so 's but DFHack didn't even re-downloaded them and I still had the same error. Integrating them by myself also didn't change anything.

I've fixed it by compiling DFHack from source (used dfhack-git 0.40.12.r1-1 in AUR) and replacing the stonesense.plug.so from the Linux LNP V0.40.13 with the one I compiled. Now it works.

Here's my precompiled file, if you don't want to compile it yourself: http://www.datafilehost.com/d/e7df5b21
