Thanks @sdeinert and the Airbus DS intern Tamil for this proposal on a new landing gear parametrization.

Current status and problem

We have a list of components for each landing gear type (e.g., mainGearType). However, there is in many cases no way to specify the geometric connections between those.

Airbus DS and BHL already iterated on this proposal.
