When funder template is being added to the tool or changed by the super admin (e.g. adding a link, updating sections etc.) and we publish the template it becomes live
When there are customisations for the template - orgs that customised the template has to manually go through this and apply these customisations (but again they are currently not notified about these changes) - which can be very disruptive for organisations as researchers end up working with funder templates that do not include the customisations
Could we add the following when creating a new funder template and/or updating existing template
a. notify all administrators about the new funder template in the tool (or updated funder template in the tool)(hopefully this is not too complicated as funder templates should be under the flag of 'funder organisations')
b. not make these templates to overwrite the existing template until the point the org admin publishes the changes locally
Temporary solution - start issue the warning in DMPonline to org-admins (so that they pull changes across) when a new template and existing funder template is in the tool
The rest will need more feature planning and will be addressed by Roadmap team as a new feature
