Section for comparison tables?

What do you think of adding a section in the manifesto for comparison tables?

Examples:

• https://juliaearth.github.io/GeoStatsDocs/stable/#Overview
• https://docs.rxinfer.com/stable/manuals/comparison

I think this can work well in a package specific context but in a language-wide context it would not be as simple to make clearly objective statements for the categories... as this repo is about the language not about a specific discipline I think such a table would be hard to put here.

Or do you mean to add the discipline specific tables all grouped somewhere in the manifesto repo? like in a subfolder? and then point to this subfolder in the section that highlights unique julia packages?

I was thinking of ways to highlight unique features in Julia packages, but I can see how this can be slightly offtopic. Perhaps we could start with a Discourse thread that collects these tables and then add a link to it in the manifesto later if it makes sense? Just trying to give more evidence to readers that Julia can indeed be a good choice. These tables are worth 100 pitch talks sometimes. That's a good idea. I have two tables to share based on our papers on Agents.jl and ComplexityMeasures.jl and happy to post them in such a thread. DifferentialEquations.jl has such a table but it is fairly old by now. I guess that is one downside of tables that they can get outdated (like papers).

There is a section in the "additional information" that talks about various top of the class ecosystems. GeoStats.jl should be mentioned there as well if it isn't already.
