I'm using rails 3.0.5, haml and simple form. Does it work with haml?

Are you using the latest beta.2?

Did you run

rails g client_side_validations:install

yes

What order are you requiring the gems in your Gemfile? client_side_validations needs to be required before simple_form

gem 'rails', '3.0.5'
gem 'mysql2'
gem 'client_side_validations', '3.0.0.beta.2'
gem 'haml-rails'
gem 'jquery-rails'
gem 'simple_form'
gem 'rails3-generators'
gem 'devise'
gem "compass", ">= 0.10.6"

Okay, I'll give this combination a try... just a few minutes please.

do you think you could gist me the form file and the resulting html?

git://gist.github.com/873969.git form
and git://gist.github.com/873966.git resulted html

I take it this is a devise form?

Can you gist the controller?

class RegistrationsController < Devise::RegistrationsController

end

Also your routes file.

Actually, if it is possible to push your app to Github so I can clone it that would be easiest.

Just a moment...

Checking it out now...

I replace the order of "client-side-validations" gem in Gemfile. I've placed it after simple_form. So I forgot it to replace back. Don't mind it doesn't work in both cases..

The gem needs to be before simple_form in the Gemfile to work inject into SimpleForm.

But I see the error that you're talking about. I'm working on it.

Fixed. Try with beta.3

It might take a minute for Rubygems.org to release it

Although I'm seeing an issue with the email format checker. I'm guessing the format is being derived from Devise. That regex is probably not able to translate to valid javascript regexp.

I'll look into this tomorrow.

Actually, forget that. It is the custom regex. The lowercase 'z' is the problem. Change that to an upper case 'Z' and it works.

Thanks Brian..
