"Team Innocent: The Point of No Return - G.C.P.O.SS" plunges players into a futuristic saga of mystery and survival. The story begins with the Galactic Police uncovering a horrifying secret: a rogue scientist, Cronus, has been conducting forbidden genetic experiments on humans. In a daring rescue, the police chief saves three young girls, each marked by the results of these experiments.

Fifteen years later, those girls - Saki, Lilis, and Ariel - have grown into determined young women, now serving the Galactic Police. Haunted by their past, they embark on a perilous quest to uncover the truth behind their origins and Cronus's sinister experiments. Their journey unfolds across three life-threatening missions, each more dangerous than the last. Success is uncertain, and survival is far from guaranteed...

Patching Instructions

This English translation patch release includes a custom patch-applying kit. It specifically targets the Redump rip, and no other version of the original source disc image can be used.

To apply the patch, follow the steps below.

1. Extract the latest release package ZIP to any folder of your choosing.
2. Place the entire Redump disc image in the original_redump_disc_image folder (as per the screenshot below).

3. Launch the apply_patch.bat script and watch for status messages as it applies the patch.
4. Upon successful completion, the patched disc image (in CUE/ISO/BIN format) will reside in the patched_disc_image folder. This disc image is acceptable for burning and using on real PC-FX hardware, or for using with an emulator.

"Team Innocent: The Point of No Return - G.C.P.O.SS" is a thrilling blend of adventure and action, offering players three distinct missions to conquer. Step into the shoes of Saki, the primary heroine, while occasionally taking control of another brave young woman during pivotal moments. As the story unfolds, players will explore diverse, intricately designed locations, gathering essential items, solving clever puzzles, and wielding an array of weapons ranging from pistols to axes.

Players choose their combat style from four dynamic modes: punching, kicking, shooting, and, in specific scenarios, jumping. The gameplay is presented from a third-person perspective, set against atmospheric, pre-rendered backgrounds with cinematic, constantly shifting camera angles reminiscent of "Alone in the Dark." However, the protagonists are depicted as charmingly detailed sprites, giving the game a unique visual style. Anime-inspired cutscenes and fully voiced dialogues further immerse players in this captivating adventure.

Current Limitations and Project Roadmap

As of version 0.9.1, this English translation patch has the following limitations.

• The challenging nature of working with the PC-FX console has prevented the re-encoding and direct integration of subtitled FMVs into the patched game. While the project aims to eventually include subtitled FMVs in the patched game itself, they are presently available separately for players to watch (see the Subtitled FMVs section).
  
  

Reporting Bugs and Typos

Even after extensive testing on both real hardware and on emulators, the presence of bugs or typos may be possible. Should a player encounter any such issue, it's kindly requested that they submit a new issue to this project page, including as much detailed information as possible.

Before submitting a new issue, please be sure it hasn't already been addressed in the Current Limitations and Project Roadmap section.
