Q. Where are the best places to get this stuff?
Eye protectors / Visors
3D printing

PETG (preferred) - 1.75mm and 2.85mm sizes (better we are advised as can be sterilized, but maybe harder to print with)

PLA - 1.75mm and 2.85mm sizes (is this appropriate - everybody is printing with it so it better be)

Buttonhole elastic - (I think) anything around 16mm-20mm will be okay

Visor material
140-500 micron thickness, clear, any of PVC, PETG, polypropylene, polyester. If it's pre-cut to A4, even better.
Laser Cutting

Polypropylene sheets - 0.5mm-1.5mm thick (we've been prototyping with 1mm, which works nicely, but anything in that range will be okay). The laser suppliers page on the DoES Liverpool wiki is a good starting point for sources.

Visor material
- 140-500 micron thickness, clear, any of PVC, PETG, polypropylene, polyester. If it's pre-cut to A4, even better.
Foam Visors
- Approx A4 sheets of clear PETG/Polypropylene/PVC/Acetate in 140/180/220/240 micron.
- 25mm Elastic Strip
- EVA/Plastizote foam 10/12mm thick with reasonably smooth surfaces eg Gym/Yoga floor mats.
- 23/13 or 26/6 staples
- Stick on Velcro 20mm
Useful equipment includes;
- 18mm Snap Off Knife
- Heavy Duty Stapler capable of stapling 100 sheets of paper
- Standard office stapler
Round Corner Cutter or 10mm Corner Cutter Pro Punch R10
Cleaning Materials
Packing Materials
26x40cm (ideally ziplock) plastic bags for bagging up 3DVerkstan frames
- Larger than 40cm (ideally ziplock) plastic bags (the 26x40cm bags above includes the bag handle in that dimension) for the laser-cut frames
Larger than A4 (ideally ziplock) plastic bags for the visors
Packing boxes (a bit bigger than 40cm)
