Making this so me and Zarino can work on it. Any suggestions are welcome!

A few things that have been mentioned in discussions I’ve had around the space:

  • Text too small, in general.
  • Too much space devoted to future events, especially ones that are just recurring (eg: maker night every Thursday).
  • Not enough emphasis placed on unusual or stand-out events that are coming up – special one-off events just get lost in the undifferentiated calendar feed.
  • Screen doesn’t feel "live" enough. People have suggested including tweets or instagram posts, as a way of surfacing some of the DoES Liverpool community feeling. (See also #903)
  • One or two of us have wondered about using the screen to display time-sensitive instructions for the first people in the space, or the last people out. Eg: if it talked to the doorbot, could it recognise you’re the first person into the space in the morning, and remind you to open the fire shutter? Or on a Friday morning, could it remind you to put out the bin?
