I've just found http://obrary.com/collections/open-designs/products/laser-cutter-engrave-calibration-plate which is a nice table of engrave settings for laser-cutters. Would it be worth cutting some for each laser-cutter, in the common materials we stock and then mounting them on the wall (or somehow making them less likely to get lost over time)?

The Thingiverse link - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:728579 - that @goatchurchprime found in #619 looks the prettiest version. Mostly we just need someone to cut some :-D

Ming has made a handy calibration tool for slotting pieces together at right angles. Just adding this here so I remember to get the file off him and then it can be added to this.

Urgently needs doing, as the wiki page https://github.com/DoESLiverpool/wiki/wiki/CutEtchSettingsSophia is so horrible we're back to using the whiteboard.

Every value on it can be validated instantly (usually we do some test cuts when setting up). So there is no need to have these long and dated records as on the wiki.
