As @rcostello said in a Google Group thread:
"Doing some quality photos of DoES would be good. Dinky looks well in the photos on the website but the main room not so much...."

Yep, this is pretty important.

I've spoken to Hakim about it, as we can put photos on NearDesk as well,
but it's definitely important for the website.

I think the problem with the main space is it’s impossible to get good photos because it doesn’t look as nice, so maybe “improve the look of the main space” is a prerequisite to this.

How recent are our photos of the space? I took some at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/o9kfy742vqq39yt/AABQyeTlQ1ZnHXpeKW6Ovgsga?dl=0 which we can use. If those are good enough/better than our existing ones, then we can use them for now. Otherwise, I'd say that we get some better photos now (with minimal improvement of the space, mostly tidying and maybe arranging for people to be in working when the photos are taken?) and then open a new issue for "we need new photos" once issue #48 is closed?

Only photo I like from that lot (and it’s the space not the photos) is the one of the breakout room, so not the main space!

Yes tidying up would be awesome, perhaps arranging so that all the chairs are the same at least for the photos. The random desks don’t look so great either tho, not a lot we can do about that. Yes, people in the photos would be good but they need to be tidy people ;-)

Is it worth switching some of the odd desks from the main space with those in the Workshop / Dinky for photographing? and be a bit creative with the angles in the photographs

@DoESsean says that really all we'd need is to dress the space. I think we'd want to at least remove the space/Mersey sign (because it's obviously incomplete at the moment). Going to give it a bit more time to clear out issue #48.
