As of 30/12/2016 there are three PC systems setup in the DoES workshop, all with a very similar software base.
does-sophia-pc: providing Laser cutting services via Sophia and label printing services via the Dynmo Labelwriter 450
does-gerald-pc: providing Laser cutting services via Gerald
does-roland-pc: providing vinyl cutting services via the Roland [TBD]
The password for each system is "bubblino"
Each PC system has Windows 7 Ultimate x32 installed.
This was chosen as the laser cutting software required (LaserCut 5.0) does not install under Windows 10.
Further the installation is 32-bit not 64-bit as the LaserCut security dongle (SmartDog) drivers appear to be 32-bit only. They appear to install on a 64-bit operating system but in fact the installation fails.
Chrome - browser
Avast Antivirus (Free) - anti-virus protection
DropBox - linked to DoES laser cutting cloud storage
